Richter strolls once again with Stroll for KidsSeptember, 2018
Stroll for Kids (SFK) is a family event supporting the Just for Kids Foundation (JFK) and the Montreal Children’s Hospital (MCH). The event aims to raise funds to purchase life-saving medical equipment, attract world-class doctors and support special projects for the MCH. In three short years, SFK has raised over $500,000, has garnered a loyal following of over 150 families, and has grown into a highly-anticipated annual event.
The event was co-founded by Alana and her friend Jodie, who both had premature twins and incredible experiences in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at MCH. “I really wanted to give back… and, along with my co-chair, we founded Stroll for Kids” says Alana in an interview last year with Breakfast Television. The funds raised this year will go towards the NICU, and Neurosurgery and Craniofacial Surgery departments of the MCH.
The heartfelt event not only supports a worthy cause but also introduces children to philanthropy at a young age. Richter is truly proud to support JFK and Stroll for Kids – an inspiring initiative that embraces health, family, and community.
This year’s event will be held on September 23rd in Pierre Elliott Trudeau Park, Montreal.
