Press release | Richter VP Bertrand Milot is Montreal’s First Certified Blockchain Professional

The Richter team would like to recognize and congratulate Bertrand Milot on attaining his most recent professional designation: Certified Blockchain Professional, C|BP. Not only is Bertrand a leading advisor in cybersecurity and Blockchain technology, he is the first individual in the Montreal area to obtain this designation.

This certification is offered by the Institute of iBusiness (IIB) Council, a division of the International Council of E-Commerce Consultants (EC-Council), which is notably one of the largest cyber security technical certification bodies worldwide, and is renowned for its famous CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) certification. The C|BP certification aims to give respected and aspiring emerging-technology professionals “excessive knowledge in Blockchain technology and its implication on businesses.”[1] Recipients of the designation prove themselves to be sufficient in developing and implementing Blockchain technologies and networks.

With more than 20 years of experience in cyber security as well as information security, risk management and corporate governance, Bertrand will use this additional expertise to advise clients and companies in evaluating, adapting to, and/or implementing Blockchain technologies within their operations.
