Strategic, Insightful, Trusted.

Stanley is a seasoned advisor whose career has been shaped by years spent close to capital, lenders, and businesses facing important decisions under pressure. He brings to Richter a rare combination of restructuring depth, lender-side credibility, and deep understanding of the banking ecosystem, helping clients navigate complexity with clarity, confidence, and foresight.

As a Partner in Richter’s Crisis Management & Restructuring practice, Stanley works with business owners, management teams, lenders, and other stakeholders to navigate complex situations, preserve optionality, and support sound decision-making. His perspective is especially valuable not only in times of financial pressure or transition, but also earlier, when sharper insight into financing, credibility, capital structure, and stakeholder dynamics can materially influence outcomes.

Before joining Richter, Stanley held senior leadership roles at BMO, including serving as Head of the Special Accounts Management Unit in Canada. He also held leadership roles in commercial banking, further broadening the lender-side and banking ecosystem perspective he now brings to Richter clients.

Over the course of his career, Stanley has worked closely with businesses under pressure, capital providers, and executives facing consequential decisions. He understands how lenders assess risk, how credibility is earned and maintained, and what tends to preserve options as situations become more complex. That combination of restructuring depth and banking insight makes him a valued advisor to entrepreneurs and business owners navigating growth, underperformance, recapitalization, lender discussions, and other pivotal moments in the life of a business.

Beyond his professional work, Stanley is deeply committed to mentorship and community engagement and has been recognized for his leadership and contribution in these areas.
